Abstract

The following article of one of the most competent Kant researchers Norbert Hinske focuses on Kant's attitude to ontology and first of all on the tension between ontology and analytic of understanding. The Critique of Pure Reason is compared with his Inaugural Dissertation of 1770 to find out which part is assigned to ontology in the Critique of Pure Reason. That way of consideration demonstrates the legitimacy of the ontological interpretation of Kant's work.
