Abstract

The article deals with the text of Georges Florovsky The Problem ofOld Russian Culture (1962). Raised issues, particularly the philosophy of culture, the methodology of historical research, as well as the proposed interpretation of the spiritual and cultural heritage of Old Russia
— considered in a perspective of the author’s ideological evolution. Revealed lines of thought, in dialogue with which conception of Florovsky was formed (Philosophy of life, Slavophilism, Eurasianism). As an application publishing the Russiantranslation of the Florovsky’s text.
