Abstract

The article analyses the motives, sources of and influences on the establishment of the Eurasians' concept of a singular Eurasian culture. It traces their application of the methodology of all-unity, inherent to religious thinkers in Russia, as well as the use of the positivistic and dialectical methods. Special attention is given to the generalising, individualising and value-related methods, developed by the Baden school of Neo-Kantianism, as being the most important ones for theoreticising the historical and living element Russia-Eurasia.
