This article deals with systematic character and the significance of the ideas of Theodore I. Oizerman in the fields of philosophy and history of philosophy, accentuating the newest theoretical orientations, which were analyzed in the writings of author published in 21 century and summarized in the book “Reflections. Sentences” (2013). These ideas are as follows: 1) Plurality and ambivalence of the philosophy in general, of the history of philosophy in particular were considered by T.I. Oizerman — in contrast with the judgments of the critics of philosophy — not as the defects of the history of philosophy, but rather as the merits of it and as the evidences of its closeness to the real processes of the human knowledge in different spheres and forms; 2) In the article were considered the critical attitudes of T.I. Oizerman to the marxist-leninist dogmas about the struggle of materialism and idealism as the main contentofthe his- tory of philosophy (with the proofs that the discrepancy between the idealists are more typical for the real history of philosophy).
